About us
Humanity’s wellbeing is intrinsically linked to the health of the natural world. We are a part of nature and it requires our respect, care and protection to achieve a balanced and resilient ecosystem.
Enspyre believes that all nature matters whether it be a single tree, rock or animal, an isolated remnant patch of vegetation or a large wilderness area. Our ecocentric philosophy views all elements of nature as having its own intrinsic value. Humanity is a part of nature which has become often disconnected from its essential role in sustaining healthy ecosystems. We aim to contribute to a united and collaborative effort to build stakeholder relationships and ecological understanding to sustain ongoing protection of natural values.
Enspyre was founded to assist land managers and stakeholders to better understand ecosystem health, fill knowledge gaps and improve management decisions and biodiversity outcomes. We work closely with land managers and stakeholders to:
Understand site-specific ecological relationships and opportunities aligned with land manager aspirations and resources;
Facilitate frameworks for informed holistic decision making;
Develop realistic management actions to protect and restore natural values;
Enhance skills in practical on-ground bushland management methodology;
Integrate natural values across multi-use land management areas;
Work in harmony with natural processes.
The team at Enspyre draws upon accredited qualifications and decades of experience developing management plans, assessing and monitoring biodiversity outcomes, setting works plans, delivering and measuring on-ground improvements and collaborating with diverse land-managers, government agencies and stakeholders. Our skills have been honed in the challenging urban and peri-urban environment around greater Metro Melbourne where extensive degradation and significant threats continue to impact remnant bushland. We have expertise in working to improve natural values throughout roadside vegetation, urban forests, open space parks, botanic gardens, equestrian reserves, golf courses and nature conservation reserves.
